Jones and Parker win at Eufaula 2/16/2007  4:55:02 AM Jones and Parker win Black Gold Eufaula, AL – The team of Eddy Parker and Jimmy Jones combined with the coon treeing talents of a Treeing Walker hound named AKC Grand Nite Champion (CGN) Cedar Creek Rowdy have won the inaugural AKC Black Gold – Gold Medal Championship for coonhounds in close race to the finish. It proved to be a big night for the Alabama coon hunters and their hound all the way around as they were awarded the AKC Black Gold – Gold Medal National Leader award earlier in the evening at the awards banquet co-hosted by AKC and Black Gold Pet Foods at the Malcolm McRab Reeves Recreational Complex in Eufaula. The first place win earned Jones and Parker a check for $5000.00, a year’s supply of Black Gold Dog Food, a Champion plaque, and a Black Gold jacket.
