Gearing up for the Heartland Classic 6/2/2007  8:30:56 AM Tomah, WI - With the coming of summer families are making vacation plans. Gas prices are figuring into those decisions and that trip to Disney World may be out of the question for now. What to do? Coon hunters and their families can wrap a hunting, fishing, camping, and sightseeing vacation into a single trip to Tomah, Wisconsin on July 13 and 14 to attend the 2nd Annual AKC Heartland Classic. There's plenty of camping on the grounds, plenty of barn space for the hounds, lots of lakes for fishing, and tons of family attractions too such as the nearby Wisconsin Dells. For the kids and adults alike there are two big days of AKC Bench Show Spectacular shows offering 10 bonus points in the run-offs and two big nights of AKC World Qualifying Nite Hunts. And....some lucky hunter is going to load up the Suzuki Eiger 4 x 4 ATV for the trip back home! We're looking forward to seeing you and your family at the Upper Midwest's only family-style coon hunting extravaganza, the AKC Heartland Classic!
