Ernstes and Gwinnup Split at St Leon

Entries were lower than expected no doubt due to a local Youth State Championship and another hunt and show less than 20 miles away. It mattered not to the folks that showed up to compete for wins toward their AKC title along with some cold hard cash.
Joe a 5 year old Treeing Walker male owned by Dave Grieshop and Tim Groce of Connersville, Indiana and handled by Terry Gwinnup of Milroy, Indiana won cast #1 with 175+.
Tuff owned and handled by Kurt Ernstes of Manilla, Indiana (shown) won cast #2 with the high score of the night 350+
Terry Gwinnup said it best, “where else can you go, hunt six dogs, cast winners take home over $200 bucks and the club still makes $175. This is unbelievable!!!”
