2005 AKC Pennsylvania State Champion

A wet and overcast day found me bound for the great State of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania AKC State Championship hosted by the Indiana County Treehound Association in Blairsville. The Indiana County Association was founded in 1978. This year’s officers are President Bill Kirkland, Vice President Bill Lindsey, Secretary Dave Brendinger, Trea. Gary Brendinger and the reporter is Amanda Alexander. For this event Curt Willis served as the Hunt Director and Amanda Alexander judged the show.
I would like to congratulate this year’s winners. The 2005 AKC State Nite Hunt Champion is Druschels Lacy a English female owned by Robert Druschel of New Galilee, Pa. Lucy had a score of 575+. The 2005 AKC State Bench Show Champion is Cold Creek Gold Dust Xavier owned by Megan Rimel or Michael Eberhand Jr. and handled by Megan Rimel. The Reserve Bench Show Champion was Double Blue Pepper owned by Bill Barto of Indiana, Pa. and handled by Nick Brown.
Each Nite Hunt cast winner earned $218.60, the Show Champion earned $100.00, and the Reserve Champion earned $50.00. A large trophy was presented tto the Nite Hunt Champion and Bench Show winner.
