Don’t forget the World Entry Deadline – September 4th!
Greensburg, IN – The 2007 AKC World Coonhound Championship where the best hounds in the United States will compete for a Final Four purse of $46,000.00 plus a huge array of trophies and sponsorship prizes is little more than a month away!
Greensburg, Ind., is seventy miles southwest of Richmond, Ind., where Autumn Oaks is being held this weekend. From Richmond, one travels west on Interstate 70 to Exit 123 and takes Indiana Rt. 3 South approximately 37 miles to Greensburg.
If your dog is qualified, be sure to meet the September 4th entry deadline. We’ll be happy to take your entry on the phone. Have your credit card handy when you call the toll free coonhound help line at 1-888-436-4486. Select menu option #2 and we’ll take care of your entry. You will  need to have your dog’s AKC registration number handy as well.
Should you choose to mail your entry, be sure to include your check for $100 made payable to AKC. You will want to use Priority or Express Mail if you choose to mail the entry any later than this week. The deadline is Tuesday, September 4th. The 3rd is a legal holiday and post offices will be closed for Labor Day.
Don’t miss your chance to enjoy all the fanfare and excitement of the AKC World Coonhound Championship in October. You’ll be hunting some of the finest coon hunting in the country in the company of some of the sport’s best and brightest stars. There’s a piece of the $46,000 purse just waiting for you.
